Smooth Ride

Well, it has taken a while, but I now have a smooth transmission.

I had the mandatory clunking downshift and binding but now that VW have changed the transfer case, treg is running smooth.

It did take a lot longer to get the parts in (Australia is a long way from anywhere you know), but at least it is done. Only been a few days, but car feels a lot better and believe it or not, there seems to be less rattles as well, added bonus.

Good news.... congrats on the fix!!!

2 Please describe the binding effects and parameters it occurs under.

I have a 2004 v6. The binding effects were a shuddering of the car when low revs and / or tight turning
