Parking Assist

i've noticed recently my parking assist front right comes w/ all the lights/buzzer sometimes when i come to a light/stop sign. No there is no one in front of me and no people walking in front.

I'd say this is 2/3 times, I checked the sensors, just by looking at them and clearing them off w/ my thumb.

Anyone seen similar?

also I've seen the two red lights only come on, at a stop. Oddly usually occurs on an uphill stop(often at lights, not stop signs) then after movement shuts off.

any ideas?

Only time something like that happened to me, I was driving in over 20 inches of snow. The snow set off the sensors. When I got to a plowed road, there was still some snow stuck to the front that kept the sensors going off until I brushed them off. Once I brushed them off they acted normal.
doesn't sound like this is the case for yours. You might have a sensor going bad. If it is still under warrantee, I'd have it checked.

sensor going bad. same thing is happening to me, and my car is going in tuesday for the repair. the two red lights (on each side) indicate that the system is not functioning properly. it is the defult the system goes into when it cant get a read from a sensor or the sensor is blocked by debris. if i could find a way to just disable the system that would be my fix.

every time i go near a carwash to get my car washed i get the two red lights only come on for some reason!

You should have a switch (with a P on it) on the dash to turn it off.

i mean when i enter the carwash and wait for the car infront of me finish getting washed, (durring teh summer teh carwash door kept open to prevent fogging on teh carwash viewing glass) and when the water particals get on my car teh two red lights on each side turnes on, and taht is the time i turn off my parking assist and my automatic windshilled wipers!
