New WARNING Light

Hello,

I was on my way to work this morning when a new warning light popped up.

It is a triangle with an exclaimation point inside. Then there is an open circle with an arrow point around the whole thing.

Normally I'd check my owner's manuel, but I'm at work now and won't be home for 8 hours.

Anyone know what this is? Thanks.

That sounds like a ESP (Electronic Stability Program) issue. aka Traction Control.

also a Red warning usually means immediate attention required, you may want to call your dealer.

If you get on your HUD "BRAKE FAULT" then it could be a wheel speed sensor or a brake controller. The dealer should be able to find out.

Mine is on permanently when you switch the ESP off, and flashes when the ESP is on and you drive like a hooligan.

Did you not perhaps just accidentally push the ESP button...? If this is the case, it would "reset" the ESP to on next time you start the car.

I believe yours is in yellow, the red light tells me there might be a problem with the ESP.

Good Point...

Didn't know there is a red one. I've only ever seen the yellow one.
