New Treg here from Washington DC currently traveling across country on a road trip to the west. 2004 Black V8 27xxx miles on the odometer.

Stumbled upon this site after searching for any recalls on the 04s. Unfortunately it looks like the V8s had quite a few problems (wish i would have known that sooner lol)....but mine has been near flawless so far. It seems that the previous owner managed to take care of all the bugs (TCM, stepper motor, rear hatch, etc.)

I'm coming from a modded B5 S4 and have been very impressed with this vehicle. I am very much looking forward to becoming a contributing member here for some time to come... \

I picked up an 04 in Oct. I have loved it since.
Enjoy the drive. I know I like roadtrips in my Touareg.

We have it little less here in SLC. I am now paying 2.29 for premium here at the moment.

I just can't give up the S4 yet!!!!!

I thought the S4 had lag, my t-reg has more lag then the K03's.
Got to find a VW TSB to fix this (S mode is fun but damn you don't want to have the Current MPG on the display).

that photo was taken somewhere in PA (not sure exactly where). today I set out from Chicago and head west on 90- I want to go and see Mt. Rushmore.

does anybody else get bad wind noise from the drivers side window on the freeway? I checked all the seals/window/etc. and I can't seem to find out where the noise is coming from (both roof racks are in the rear locked position). any ideas would be much appreciated.
