Need VAGing in Houston

I just got my 04 Treg and it's a love hate relationship. Love the car hate the chimes, DRL, acknowledgement on radio etc. Dealer says that the car can't be reprogrammed like other cars can. After spending time on this site I know that's not true. Anyone in Houston know where I can VAG my car and get those annoying things programmed out?

I was told the same ... Vag-com is just out of my budget though - guess we're in the same boat ...

We are a great group of VW/Audi enthusiasts based in Houston. A few have VAG's (handy for datalogging on those APR Stg 3's!). I am sure if you post on that forum and ask, someone will be willing either in your area, or to bring it to the next GTG. I had my wife's Treg done by one of the guys and it turned out awesome (seatbelt chime, DRL's, warning screen on NAV, etc).

Advantage VW on Hwy 290 (unfortunately, after glancing at other service nightmares on the dubspeed forum).
