lever for hood?

Hi all,

I just bought a used 2004 touareg and it needs windshield wiper fluid. I have searched the car front to back, side to side, in compartments, everywhere! And I can't find how to release the hood!!

The car did not come with a manual

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks!

I'm sorry - I'm not familiar with that lingo. What is the kick panel? I searched the driver's side so thoroughly I'm surprised I missed it.

Okay, thank you! I know I looked there, but I'll have a look again tomorrow. If I can recall, there was only a large release for the foot brake and I remember being surprised. This car has a lot of aesthetic damage to it and I'm wondering if somehow that went "missing".

Awesome! I see that! I think that handle is still there. I'm so happy to have this forum and you have been awesome. So helpful!! I literally have spent all day on and off trying to find it! I even asked the previous owner and she said she never opened the hood! can you believe that.

Thank you! You are awesome!
