Gas Mileage Poll - V8

This ought to produce some interesting results.

Please only take part in the poll if you have a minimum of 3000 miles on your TReg. This should be a sufficient usage barrier to produce "normal" mileage results.

Also, please be aware of the engine type when voting. This poll is only for the V8.

oh i have voted.... Recently i took My V8 on a road trip of about 1000 miles and averaged a pleasing 16.5 mpg. This is much better than my around town 13.5mpg. I found that if i cruise at around 60-65 i get like 20 mpg but that is way too slow for me when the speed limits on the freeways in urban areas here in AZ are 75 and soon to be 80. \

I am a heavy foot too.

Even though I now have a daily driver... I still drive it like I am in the M3. Oh well. Also, I am AMAZED at the difference in "D" vs "S" driving modes. It really seems as if it is a different truck when it is in "S" (Sport). Granted, it probably doesn't help my gas mileage but, it is a much more lively truck and responds much more quickly to my requests.

Frankly, If I were to demo the truck *(from a sales person's perspective) I would put it in S.

The first gear jerk bothers me but that is the ONLY issue I have....
