Dealer for service in St. Louis?

Does anyone have good (or bad) experiences with service for a Treg in St. Louis area. I need a 5k service and a few tsb's addressed.

thanks

I have used Suntrup SOCO. They are OK. They will perform the major TSB's and recalls without being asked, but items like short remote range and windshield condensation they won't do unless you tell them you are having a problem.

I just bought from Suntrup...it was a decent experience. Before that, I had a less than positive experience with St. Charles.

Let us know where you go for the service and how it works out!

Thanks to all for the input. I bought my Treg at Suntrup and was also treated ok, but it was still more along the usual car buying experience. I wondered about their service. I live close to Dean Kirkwood. I may give them a try as its a lot more convenient. Nice to hear someone had a good experience as well.

I live close to Suntrup, but I bought from Dean. We spent 2 weeks in Europe early summer and had a Passat wagon rental car, liked it and thought about buying one when we got back. Went to Suntrup, wandered around, nobody greated me, I picked up a Passat brochure and looked at the ones on the lot and finally left, without anyone ever talking to me. After considering what car to buy for a month or so, the Touareg was catching my eye so I went back to Suntrup, again wandered around, nobody talking to me and again, I left with a brochure. Both times were middle of week day with no other customers around. Dean was opposite, help immediate without pressure and not a bad experience. So I am trying Suntrup for service, again because they are close but I realized after a couple visits there's a couple of good employees, and some don't seem to care if you are happy with them or not. About the time I start to wonder how some of them keep their jobs, I realized most of the bad employees there have a last name of Suntrup. So if you get a non Suntrup employee, your pretty good shape. My guess is, Suntrup VW doesn't have the "A" team Suntrups, those are reserved for their high end dealerships.

Kye-please post your 5k service experience and cost. I bought last month at Dean and am curious to hear how the 5 K services goes.
