Best all season tires for TDI?

Anyone have a recommendation for new all season tires for a TDI? Currently considering Michelin Latitude Tour HP.

Looks good but not available in 275/45 R19. Looking for a tire with good tread life and good winter performance.

There is no such thing an all season tyre if you get lots of snow and ice. Then you need proper winter tyres which are not the same thing at all.

There are lots of tyre / tire threads on here if you spend a bit of time reading all the other threads and posts and recommendations.

I've got about 1000kms on my Conti DWS and think they are a perfect match for the Touareg. I will swap them out for dedicated snows in winter.

What about rainy weathers? I need to change the tires also, but i live in Seattle where we have 8 months of rain 1 day of snow. Does conti DWS good in rain also?

Unfortunately, you're options for 19" tires pretty much suck.

DWS is short for "Dry Wet Snow"...although I personally wouldn't use them in snow, I think they are perfect since they really do seem to be an all weather and within reason an all terrain tire.

So all to say yes if I were on the wet coast, I would without a doubt get a set of them.

I also got them because they have the longest wear rating for any of the 19" tire offerings...at the price of 19" tires, long lasting tread is critical!

Continental ExtremeContact DWS

I like the wear indicator idea. Clever.

The conti dws tires look to have a pretty good warranty. Also a lot less expensive the Michelin latitude tour HP.
