i live in the UAE, you need a "hot country" spec which is essentially a larger rad and a/c compressor. So not different spec for different countries, cars are built for the intended operating conditions.

In Europe the warranty is 2 years and you have to pay extra 800 Euros to extend it for 2 more. The new Infotainment system is true and already available here.

So what is the monthly cost on a V10, just for comparison, please state purchase price so I can compare with exchange rate.

Period say 3 or 4 years.
A Loaded V10 In the US ( The few 08's that are left ) would be about $ 77000 US. If you bought it right, at $68000 the 36 Mo lease w/ 12,000 miles per year would run about $ 1000 per month.

Thanks Liquid, I'll check with my dealer which spec I have, not sure it's for hot country though since I'm in Canada! Do you know if one can add the bigger rad and a/c aftermarket?
Do you have any idea how much costs a Touareg V6 with Navigation in UAE. I'm concerned that I'll lose to omuch money by selling it here and buying another one in AbuDhabi.
Thanks

This now seems a little more expensive than Australian financing however in Australian the buyer takes the sale risk and we pay a lot more on the purchase side .

you should be able to add the bigger radiator and aircon, finding someone reliable and knowledgeable in UAE might prove a challenge though. Re prices here, a 2008 V6 with Nav, 20" wheels, reverse camera etc will set you back AED 210k or app.$57k. A demo model would typically cost about AED10-15k less.
These are the prices in Dubai, the spec might be slightly different in AD, but would not expect the price to be materially different.

Alas again no Iphone support!

The specs mentioned earlier are pretty much the same as mine. I'm living in The Netherlands and just have bought a TV6TDI with the nav mentioned and a PREMIUM carkit. This carkit only works with rSAP bluetooth enabled phones. That is not the Iphone (firmware 2.0). Nevertheless it's a gret navigation system (and ofcourse a great car!).

I'm selling an 08 in UAE and already purchased 09 back home...

I was lucky enough to get the 09 changes in my 08 model here in Dubai! I have the RNS 510 with the rearview camera, touchscreen and hard drive, plus 20" mountain wheels. I'm actually selling the car now, so if you're still interested, it's only got 7500 km.

We already purchased a 2009 back home. My wife picked it up and I haven't seen it yet, but I'll give you some info;

1 Basically same as our 08.5 MY in Dubai as far as features but this one has the suspension and damping option, as well as keyless start

2- It's an indidvidual model with Galapagos exterior and two tone nappa leather interior (snow and black I think)

3- Also has the sporty front and rear bumpers? I don't know what those are but will find out tomorrow night!

4- Exterior mounted spare tire

I will post pics when I get back from my trip home this Sunday!
