Any Denver-area CD Nav Users using 3B disks?

I'm having strange database problems with my 3B disks...

Is anybody using 3B-CD in the Denver area?

I've had the 3B discs for about a month, but have not gone anywhere to use them. What sort of problem are you encountering?

Problem 1:
-------------
Weird, but I can't seem to select "Denver, CO" as the city for a destination. When I spell out Denver, it forces me to choose between two out of state "cities", or "Adams, CO". If I select Adams, then the Denver streets are not accessable...

It is definitely different behavior than the V1 disks...

Problem 2:
-------------

This may just be coincidence, but...

I had a dead battery this morning. I've never had any battery issues with my '04. When I first loaded the 3B disks Friday, I remember seeing a message something like "updating firmware".

Is it possible that the the CD's actually "re-installed" the problematic firmware that caused battery drain on early Touaregs?

I actually pulled the disc and re-inserted today, so we will see if I also experience the battery problem. I had a new battery and replacement cables as of the beginning of the year, so that will isolate the problem if my battery goes. I'll investigate the destination tomorrow. I think I saw this anomaly before, but don't remember the circumstances. I really don't use the NAV very often; old school, I fell more comfortable mapping out my destination before I turn the key.

Nav-Tec seems to have ignored a population of a half-million odd people Denver only results in the listing of one county, Adams, ignoring Denver County, and I can not find a way to access the various counties separately. They obviously don't understand that Denver is the City and County of Denver, let alone that the Denver Metro includes a parcel of other counties, cities, and various jurisdictions. Going after the smaller entities will get you to the streets; eg. Glendale, for central and south Denver. I will contact Nav-Tec for some enlightenment on how to navigate this, as well as reimbursement for an obviously inadequate and faulty product. The disc as it exists is useless.

Yup. My problem exactly!

The V1 disks had no problems setting to "Denver, CO" and finding (most of) Denver streets...

One giant leap backwards!

I wonder what will happen if I put the V1 disk back in...

Went back to the V1 disk, and Denver is back. Looks like the flash memory was overwritten again, presumably back to the V1 version.

Wonder if I will have a dead battery tomorrow?

It seems like if the 3B CD's reloading of the flash causes the nav system to drain batteries when the car is off, somebody would have noticed by now!

Did not have any battery problems after the 3B disc reload. And, in using it for a few city of Denver errands today, I would say all you need to do is consider Adams County and labeling error for metro Denver. I could access all of my few Denver destinations, at least by cross streets. I'll try a couple of actual addresses tomorrow.
