2009 V10 TDI?

Does anyone know if the V10 will be offered in the 2009 model year? Thanks.

doubt it. supposed to be replaced by v6tdi.

It's an absolute downer but it is rumored that VW will drop the V10 for the States. Our Diesel offerings continue to be limited or lame while the rest of the world gets the goods.

One glimmer of hope is that Audi has a 4.2L V8 Diesel whose output is even greater than the V10! One can only hope that it will be offered in the Q7 and Touareg. Mercedes has a 420 CDI (V8 ) that's not too bad. It's available in the ML and GL but no word yet on when it will be available here.

Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed. I am putting 30K+ miles per year on my V10, more than half the miles pulling a 6K lb trailer. I'd hate to wear it out and not have a good replacement.

here in aus the v6tdi replaced the v8!! no more v8

so now have v6 petrol, r5 tdi, v6tdi, v10tdi, r50 v10tdi coming 08
