Used for my 3000 mile road trip and daily commutes for 6 months. Now up for sale with Igo 8 SD navigation... 6 month old unit RNS-510 replica for sale. Used for my 3000 mile road trip and daily commutes for 6 months. Now up for sale with Igo 8 SD navigation card (NA maps) and back-up camera. Nice unit but not perfect. But what I hear neither is the VW RNS-510 at + $2k. Has some down falls such as: Radio reception is just so so, (this was not a problem for me since I am in the city and reception was not an issue. Out in the country reception was okay to poor. Integration with steering wheel controls is limited or nonexistent with some years i hear. I used this unit with my 2010 Treg and it took some tweaking to get everything to work.

My family and I actually liked the unit after 6 months of use. We used the head unit with a rear seat monitor, etc and most everything worked good. The DVD/CD & Ipod players are excellent. The Bluetooth worked without any issues with my blackberry. The navigation in 2D mode worked perfect. 3d mode took up to much memory, so I did not use 3d mode much.

It comes complete with back-up camera. Take a look at the photos.

I would like $450 for the unit plus freight, but will take any reasonable offer.

I am ordering a new 2011 with everything so the 2010 and this unit must go.

You can`t beat the value in this unit.

Megawarrior gear basket by Yakima. Great shape. It's the bigest roof cage you can get. Also included, megawarrior extension that can be taken out if you prefer a smaller cage. Rack retails at $349 and the extension retails at $125. A $474 value for $305!

i recently bought this fiscon bluetooth kit for my retrofitted T5 with an RNS-510. but after installing it, i discovered i would't work. even though i was told it would. i later found out i needed a can-bus adapter for the headunit. therefore it was a risk that the bluetooth kit wouldn't work. i'm not going to take that gamble. so i might as well sell it. i was told by one of the guys at Kufatec that it will only work in a vehicle with a factory fitted RNS-510 with out any problems. it is a simple plug and play install.
i'm in australia, and i will post worldwide if i have to, at a small charge if need be.
i can send pictures of the kit upon request.
the kit cost me approxx 600$ AU deliverd.

so i'm open to any reasonable offers.
